Press Release Body: The Bronx Wholistic Network is a local community group providing information and therapeutic services focusing on mental, emotional and physical health and well being. The mission of Bronx Wholistic Network is to offer practical information, proven and safe alternative practices and therapeutic modalities that assist and restore the body to its optimum wholeness.
Bronx Wholistic Network has organized a 1st Annual Holistic Health Fair scheduled for March 15, 2008 at Caldwell AME Zion Church located at 1288 Rev. James Polite Blvd., Bronx, NY 10459 from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
This event is open to the general public free of cost, and will provide interested participants with information and workshops on alternative and complementary health choices. The fair will include blood pressure screening, information about nutrition, supplements,and popular medications for asthma, heart and lung disease, and mental health concerns. There will be story telling and poetry for young children and adolescent workshops for teenage girls and boys. Among the therapeutic services that will be offered are: Yoga, Wholistic Psychotherapy, Acupuncture, Reiki, Aroma Therapy, and much more.
